본 연구에서는 2002년부터 2012년까지 31개 성(省)⋅시(市분)의 패널자료를 이용하여 소득불균형과 소비구조 관계에 대하여 분석하였다. 세부적으로 중국의 3대 경제권역인 동부 연해지역, 중부지역, 서부지역으로 구분하여 도시와 농촌 간 소득불균형이 소비구조에 미치는 영향을 추정하였다. 분석결과를 보면, 첫째, 동부지역의 경우 소득불균형이 농촌주민의 소비지출에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 둘째, 중부지역의 경우에는소득격차의 차이가 농촌주민의 식품 소비지출에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 서부지역의 경우 도시와 농촌간 소득격차가 소비에 영향을미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 핵심용어 :
This study analyzes the relationship between the income inequality and the consumption structure based on the panel data of 31 provinces and towns over the period of 2002-2013. Specifically, we devided the China into 3 economic regions; Eastern Coastal, Central and Western. In the Eastern Coastal region, the income inequality effects on the consumption structure of the rural area. For the Central region, income gap effects on the food expense in the rural area. However, the income gap of the urban and rural doesn’t have any effect on the consumption in Western region.
