The purpose of this study was to develop a tea culture therapy program for alleviating excessive aggression of juvenile delinquents and to verify its effectiveness. To this end, we developed a structured tea culture therapy program focused on enjoyable experience-oriented activities to alleviate aggression, reflecting the findings of existing research and the needs of delinquent adolescents and working groups. The tea culture therapy program for the aggression relief of the delinquent adolescents was applied to 10 delinquent adolescent juveniles with aggression in the juvenile center in P city. The Korean version of the Aggression Questionnaire (AQ-K) was used as an aggression measurement tool and the Margaret(1944) was used to measure anger control ability. The Wilcoxon Matched-Pairs Signed-Ranks Test was used to verify the effect of the program on post-hoc score differences. The aggression test results were an experimental group pretest score of 84.8 (SD 6.55) and post - test score of 81.6 (SD 4.95). The level of aggression score before and after the program differed significantly (Z = 4.598 **, p = .001). The scores of physical aggression were 30.2 (SD 3.19) in the pre-test and 28.7 (SD 2.90) in the post-test. The mean score of verbal aggression of 16.5 (SD 1.21) in the pre-test was decreased to 1.0 in the post-test 15.5 (SD 0.93). The anger score of 16.7 (SD 2.15) in the pre-test was lowered to 15.2 (SD 0.98) in the post-test. The mean anger score of 24.9 (SD 1.51) in the pre-test was decreased to 23.7 (SD 1.10) in the post-test. There were statistically significant differences in all sub-domains. As a result of verifying the anger control ability, the score of the experimental group was 24.2 (SD 1.54) and the post-test score was 25.0 (SD 1.48), indicating significantly different level of aggression before and after the program (Z = -3.237 **, p = .009). These results demonstrated the effectiveness of the tea culture therapy program for the aggression relief of delinquent adolescents developed in this study.
