사회적 경제조직은 지역주민이 직면하고 있는 사회적 배제를 극복하는 주체로서 간주되고, 또한 사회적경제조직 스스로도 배제의 문제해결을 구체적 실천과제로 인식하여야 할 것이다. 따라서 사회적 경제조직의구성원들은 지역적 관점에서 지역주민들이 직면한 사회문제를 발굴하고 이를 실천하는 차원에서의 사회적경제조직들이 조직되어야 한다. 사회적 경제조직에 대한 체계적인 현황분석을 위하여 충남ㆍ대전ㆍ세종 지역에초점을 두고 사회적기업, 마을기업, 협동조합에 대한 현황분석을 실시하는 데 본 연구의 목적을 두었다. 충남ㆍ대전ㆍ세종 지역의 사회적기업은 전국 대비 8.0%의 비중으로 155개 업체가 운영 중에 있으며, 일자리제공형의 사회적기업이 가장 많은 비중을 나타내었다. 마을기업은 전국 대비 12.2%의 비중으로 177개업체가 운영 중에 있으며, 영농조합법인의 형태가 가장 많았으며, 사회적기업과 마을기업 모두 충남이 가장많은 비중을 나타내었다. 반면, 협동조합은 전국 대비 8.4%의 비중으로 1,115개 업체가 운영 중에 있으며, 법인유형으로 일반협동조합의 유형이 가장 많으며, 업종에 있어서는 도소매 업종이 가장 많았으며, 대전이 가장많은 비중을 나타내고 있었다. 충남ㆍ대전ㆍ세종 지역의 사회적 경제조직의 업체 수를 인구 대비로 보았을때, 사회적기업의 경우에는 충남이 가장 높게 나타났고, 마을기업의 경우에는 세종이 가장 높으며, 협동조합의경우에는 대전이 가장 높게 나타난 특징을 보였다.
Social economy organizations should be considered as subject which can alleviate social exclusions that local residents are facing. Also, the organizations themselves have to realize that alleviating locals’ social exclusions is their practical task. Therefore, members at social economy organizations need to find out pressing social problems of the local people in their perspectives and form proper social economy organizations to solve those issues. The purpose of this study is to know a detailed state of social economy organizations, so it include current researches and analysis about social enterprises, community enterprises and cooperatives located in Chungnam, Daejeon and Sejong provinces. Chungnam, Daejeon and Sejong provinces have 155 social enterprises(which amount to 8%) and among them, job creation type account for the most of the types. There are 177 community enterprises(amount to 12.2%) in the three provinces and farming association type account for the most of the types. Among those three areas, Chungnam has the most of social enterprises and community enterprises. Meanwhile, 1,115 cooperatives(which amount to 8.4%) are located in Chungnam, Daejeon and Sejong provinces and majority of them are located in Daejeon. There are more general cooperatives than other type of juridical person and whole sale & retail industry type accounted the largest percentage. In terms of the number-to-population ratio, Chungnam has the highest ratio of social enterprises, Sejong has the highest ratio of community enterprises, and Daejeon has the highest proportion of cooperatives.
