연구목적: 단순한 물동량 처리규모만으로는 항만의 부가가치 창출이 더 이상 가능하지 않다. 이러한 이유 때문에 배후단지를 통한 글로벌 기업들의 유치, 고용, 부가가치 창출이 긴요하다는 공감대가 형성되고 있다. 본 연구는 우리나라 제1항만이자 세계적 컨테이너 환적 항만인 부산항 신항을 통하여 배후단지 내 물류 비즈니스 활동이 어떻게 이루어지고 있는지, 향후 발전방향은 무엇인지를 살펴보고자 한다. 논문구성/논리: 현재 웅동을 포함한 신항 전체 물류기업의 기업경영분석은 여전히 미흡하다. 따라서 본 연구는 부산항 신항 북컨테이너 배후단지와 웅동 배후단지에 입주하여 운영중인 물류기업을 대상으로 경영실태를 분석하고 발전 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 동 목적을 달성하기 위해 회귀분석을 사용하였다. 결과: 신항 배후단지 물류기업의 수익성 규모인 매출액과 양(+)의 유의관계에 있는 것은 자산, 종업원수, 접대비, 상장여부이다. 영업이익과 당기순이익은 자산과 접대비가 유의성이 높았다. 기업규모가 큰 기업일수록 매출액, 영업이익, 당기순이익이 높았다. 종업원수는 매출액에는 영향을 끼치지만 영업이익과 당기순이익과는 유의관계가 없는 것으로 보아 현재 신항 배후단지 물류기업의 투입노동의 부가가치 효과는 미비한 단순 노무 작업에 기인한 것으로 판단된다. 접대비는 매출액, 영업이익, 당기순이익에 유의한 양(+)의 영향 관계로 영업활동의 중요성을 확인했다. 독창성/가치: 신항 배후단지를 주제로 많은 선행연구가 이루어졌지만, 경영분석을 실시한 연구는 거의 없었다. 본 연구는 신항 배후단지에 관한 선행연구와 주요 발견 및 시사점, 주요 현황을 개관하는 한편 물류센터의 경영성과에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 실증분석하고, 항만배후단지 물류기업의 경쟁력 확보를 위한 물류정책방향을 제시하였다.
Purpose: It is no longer possible to create and add large value by simply increasing the volume of traffic in ports. For this reason, there is a common consensus that big ports are required to attract, hire, and create value through distribution centers behind the ports. This study examines how value added logistics activities are carried out in Busan New Port distripark, and the development direction that should be pursued in the future. Composition/Logic: At present, the analysis of distripark management of all logistics companies in Busan New Port distripark is insufficient. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the management situation of the distriparks and suggest development plans for logistics companies operating in Busan New Port. Regression analysis was used to achieve this goal. Findings: The size of assets, the number of employees, the entertainment expenses, and the stock market listing status have a significant positive impact on the sales in distriparks. Operating profit and net profit were significantly higher when assets and entertainment expenses were sufficiently higher. The larger the company, the higher the sales, operating profit, and net profit. Although the number of employees affects the sales, it (the number of employees) does not have a significant influence on the operating profit and net profit. Originality/Value: Although several studies in the past have been conducted on the subject of the new port development, few studies have conducted management analysis of the distripark in ports. This study empirically analyzed the factors affecting the performance of distriparks, and suggested a direction for the logistics policy to secure competitiveness of the distripark in Busan New Port.
