알코올중독과 상습폭력은 가족 구성원 모두에게 지속적인 피해를 가져오고, 심각한 경우에는 생명의 존엄성을 침해하는 극단적인 사태를 야기한다. 따라서 알코올중독과 상습폭력의 이중고를 겪는 위기가정을 위해서는 국가적 차원의 지원방안뿐만 아니라 교회적 차원의 사목방안 역시 반드시 구축해야 한다. 이에 본고에서는 프란치스코 교황의 「사랑의 기쁨」(Amoris Laetitia)에 근거하여 알코올중독과 상습폭력의 이중고를 겪는 가정을 위한 교회의 사목방안을 모색하였다. 교회가 알코올중독과 상습폭력의 이중고를 겪는 가정을 위해 과연 무엇을 할 수 있을지, 그들을 위해 어떤 사목대책을 마련해야 할지, 특히 피해자들에게 어떤 사목적 도움을 제공해야 할지를 예방대책보다는 대처방안 중심으로 살펴보았다. 특히, 사목 성찰과 실태 진단, 우선적 관심과 사목적 지원, 지원체계 구축과 상호협력이라는 세 가지 측면에서 고찰하였다. 사목 성찰과 실태 진단에서는 지금까지 실행해온 교회의 가정사목에 대한 반성과 성찰이 필요하고, 본당 내 가정에 대한 실제적인 실태 파악과 진단이 필요하다는 사실을 제시하였다. 우선적 관심과 사목적 지원에서는 알코올중독과 가정폭력 가정에 대한 우선적 관심이 필요하고, 가해자, 피해자녀, 피해배우자 각각에 대한 사목적 법률적 차원의 지원이 필요하다는 점을 강조하였다. 특히, 가해자의 중독성과 폭력성이 근절될 때까지 가해자와 피해자녀의 분리가 필요하고, 사안이 중대한 경우 피해배우자에게 간략한 혼인무효소송 절차를 적용해야 한다고 요청하였다. 지원체계 구축과 상호협력에서는 ‘가정-소공동체-본당’의 삼위일체적 지원체계를 구축하고, 국가지원체계와 연계하고 협력하며, 주변지지체계를 확충해 나가는 것이 필요하다고 제안하였다. 「사랑의 기쁨」(Amoris Laetitia)에 근거하여 알코올중독과 가정폭력의 이중고를 겪고 있는 가정을 위해 교회가 과연 무엇을 할 수 있을지 살펴본 본고를 통해, 교회가 알코올중독과 상습폭력의 이중고를 겪는 위기가정, 특히 피해가족을 위한 사목방안을 모색하고 제도를 마련하는 데 단초를 얻기를 기대해본다.
Alcohol addiction and habitual violence cause extreme events that can constantly harm all family members. In serious cases, it cost the dignity of life. Therefore, it is necessary to establish pastoral plan of Church with national support for families with alcohol addiction and habitual violence. In this article, we searched for pastoral plan of Church for families with alcohol addiction and habitual violence based on “The Joy of Love” (Amoris Laetitia) of Holy Father Francis. We focused on countermeasures rather than preventive measures what churches could do for families with alcohol addiction and habitual violence. We determined what kind of pastoral care should be provided for these families, especially what kind of pastoral help should be provided to victims. We reviewed three aspects: 1) pastoral reflection with analysis for actual situation, 2) prioritized attention with pastoral support, and 3) constructive support system with mutual cooperation. In the aspect of pastoral reflection with analysis of actual situation, it is necessary to reflect pastoral care of the Church that has been practiced so far. It is also necessary to grasp and analyze actual situations of families in the parish. In the aspect of prioritized attention with pastoral support, we emphasized that it is necessary to prioritize attention for families with alcohol addiction and habitual violence with pastoral and legal support for each offender, victimized child, and victimized spouse. Particularly, the offender should be separated from the offending child until the addictive and violent nature of the offender is eliminated. In serious cases, the Church should have simplified procedures for declaring matrimonial nullity to victimized spouse. In the aspect of constructive support system with mutual cooperation, it is necessary to build a trinity support system of ‘Home-Small Christian Community-Parish’, link and cooperate with state support system, and expand the circumference support system. Based on the “The Joy of Love” (Amoris Laetitia), we can see what the Church can do for families who are suffering from alcohol addiction and habitual violence. This article provides the first step in the search for a pastoral plan for crisis family, especially for families of the victim to establish a support system for them.
