The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships among community attachment, support of development and participation intention. Furthermore, the moderating effects on perceived effects among community attachment, support development, and participation intention have been researched. To verify the proposed hypotheses, a total 298 survey questionnaires were distributed to the rural development area of Gyeongnam residents and 252 were valid to conduct the analysis. The results are as follows. First, identity and social affinity of community attachment influence the support of development and participation intention. Secondly, support of development influence the participation intention and, finally, perceived effects have partially moderating effects in the case of community attachment for the support of development and participation intention.
