本研究は、教室の外で活動する共同体の成員たちが話し合いの中でどのように学んでいるかを明らかにす るため、約3ヶ月間に及ぶフィールドワークによる調査を行った。その中で、フィールドノーツの作成、イン タビュー、録音によって収集されたデータを質的に分析し、共同体のローカル文化と意味世界を浮き彫りに することを試みた。 その結果、成員たちは活動を通じて共同体固有のシステムを創り上げ、そのシステムが基盤となった意見 交流会を実施していた。その意見交流会では、「日韓関係の回復のために朝鮮通信使から学べること」に関す る話し合いが行われた。そこで、4班の成員たちは協働的な対話によって、「問題解決のための提案」から「実 行方法の模索」、「ことばの定義づけ」、そして「警戒対象の確認」という話し合いの段階を創造的に発見して いた。そして、成員たちは他者と話し合う中で自分の意見をどこまで具体的に伝えられるか、自分に抜けてい る視点とは何か、相手の意見をどこまで受け入れられるか、それによって新しく生まれる自分の意見とは何 かを考え、これらを自分の日本語で表現するというプロセスを経験していた。 本研究を通じて、成員たちは「日本語をどのように話すか」より「日本語を通じて何を伝えるか」に注目す ること、他者との協働的な対話を繰り広げる中で所与の問題に対する考えの幅を広げられること、そして、成 員同士が協働的に話し合いながら緊密につながることで「学びの場」は創り上げられることがわかった。
This study conducts a three-month fieldwork survey to clarify how community members working outside the classroom learn in discussion. It is a qualitative analysis that highlights the local culture and the significance of the community through the data collected from their fieldnotes, interviews and recordings. Members created the system unique to the community through activities and an Opinion Exchange Meeting based on that system. At the Opinion Exchange Meeting, the discussion topic was "what we can learn from Joseon Missions for the recovery of Korea-Japan relations." Meanwhile, the members of the group four creatively discovered the discussion stages - “proposal for problem solving”, “seeking the execution method", “definition of words", and “confirmation of warning target" - by collaborative dialogues. Moreover, in the course of discussion, members experienced the process to describe the extended thinking of how much an individual can convey the opinion concretely, which perspective can be missed in oneself, how much an individual can accept the opinion of others, and what is the new idea after the discussion in their own Japanese. It has been found through this study that it is important for members to focus on “what to tell through Japanese” rather than “how to speak Japanese”. While engaging in collaborative dialogue with others, members could expand the range of thinking for a given problem and create the “learning place” by being closely connected with each other.
