이 글의 목적은 사고의 객관성 확보를 중요하게 생각했던 프레게의 생각을 추적하고 그에 대한 문제점 및 대안을 제시하는 것이다. 이 목적을 위해 머리말에서는 프레게의 학문적 배경을 간략히 소개하고 그가 사고의 객관성을 중요하게 생각한 이유를 설명한다. 2.1절에서는 사고의 객관성과 관련하여 프레게가 비판했던 로크의 견해를 소개한다. 2.2절에서는 로크의 견해에 대한 프레게의 반대논증을 소개하고 그 반대논증의 문제점을 드러낸다. 2.3절에서는 대안을 모색하는데, 필자의 주장은‘사고의 객관성을 확보해야 할 중요성은 우리 삶의 영역에 따라 그 정도가 다르다’는 것이다.
The purpose of this paper is to examine Frege’s idea who had thought significantly what is secured objectivity of thought in scientific areas especially in an area of formal science. I’ll outline background of his idea and show both his arguments against Locke and for the objectivity of thought. Finally, I’ll argue my idea that the significance to secure objectivity of thought depends on an area where we are; differing levels of the significance is required.
