본 연구는 대학생들이 4차 산업혁명을 어떻게 인식하는지 분석하고 이를 토대로 진로교육의 방향을 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울의 4년제 D대학교 501명을 대상으로 2017년 5월 1일부터 14일까지 2주간에 걸쳐 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문은 빈도분석, t-검증, 일원배치 분산분석과 워드 크라우드 기법 등으로 분석하였고 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 4차 산업혁명에 대한 키워드는 기술, 미래, 교육, 산업, 직업 국가, 문화 영역 순이었고, 관련 형용사는 긍정적 인식이 매우 높게 드러났다. 둘째, 4차 산업혁명과 관련된 형용사 분석에서 성별에 따라 긍정적 혹은 부정적 인식 차이는 검증되지 않았다. 하지만 성별에 따른 전공과 진로연관성은 남학생이 여학생에 비해 유의미하게 높았다. 셋째, 전공에 따라 4차 산업혁명에 대한 인식 차이는 검증되었고, 전공과 진로연관성의 차이도 유의미 했다. 넷째, 필요한 직무능력으로는 기술적 능력, 복합문제해결 능력, 콘텐츠 능력 순이었다. 다섯째, 4차 산업혁명 시대에 필요한 교육으로 기술, 융합, 인성, 진로교육의 영역 순으로 드러났다. 본 연구는 4차 산업혁명에 대한 실증연구가 부족한 상황에서 대학생들의 인식을 토대로 진로교육의 방향성을 제시했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
The objective of this study was to analyze how university students recognize the 4th industrial revolution and seek direction for pursuing career education. For this purpose, 501 students attending D university in Seoul were surveyed from May 1 to May 14, 2017 over two weeks. The results of the study are as follows. First, the keywords for the fourth industrial revolution were found in technology, future, education, industrial, occupational and cultural domains. Also, positive recognition on the fourth industrial revolution was expressed highly. Second, the difference of recognition concerning the 4th industrial revolution was not verified by gender. However, in relation to their majors and career, male students were significantly higher than female students. Third, according to the major, the difference of recognition, their major and career relation of the 4th industrial revolution was proved significantly. Fourth, the job abilities required for the 4th industrial revolution were highly evaluated in terms of technical capabilities, problem-solving abilities, and contents capabilities. Fifth, the education needs of the 4th industrial revolution were exposed to the areas of technological, fusion, personality and career education. The research indicates the necessity of finding directions for future career education based on university students' recognition of the 4th industrial revolution in the initial situation where the empirical studies on the 4th industrial revolution were lacking.
