이 글은 황해도굿의 현재적 양상을 변화하는 모습을 중심으로 살펴보면서 미래상까지 전망한 글이다. 먼저 황해도굿의 두 가지 방향을 살폈는데 하나는 무형문화재 중심으로 굿을 연행하고 준비하는 모습이고, 다른 하나는 굿의 본질을 확립하고 무당이 지켜야 할 본연의 모습을 찾는 모습이다. 이를 통해 황해도굿이 외부로는 무형문화재 지정을 염두에 두고 있음을 내부로는 본래 모습을 지키려고 함을 제시했다. 최근 황해도굿 연행이 과거에 비교하여 많이 깨진 것은 사실이지만 지켜야 할 원칙은 지키고 있음도 같은 맥락에서 제시했다. 또한 음악을 맡은 장구 연주자의 역할이 감소함을 지적하여 황해도굿이 급변하고 있음도 제시했다. 같은 강신무굿이지만 서울굿보다 신의 영험함을 내세우고 더 격렬한 황해도굿은 분명 나름의 가치를 가지고 있다. 하지만 황해도굿의 외양만 지키고 있지만 내적 구조나 가창 방식에 상당한 변화가 있어 황해도굿의 미래를 조금은 불투명하게 바라보았다. 앞으로도 황해도굿의 실상을 파악하면서 황해도굿의 알려지지 않은 여러 내적 구조 및 연행 원리를 파악해야 할 것이다. 다른 어느 지역보다 연구가 미진한 것이 황해도굿이다. 황해도굿에 대한 지속적인 관심을 가지면서 연구 성과를 낼 것을 앞으로의 과제로 제시했다.
This article takes a look at the image of Hwanghaedo-gut changing into the present style and prospects its future image as well. First of all, it has approached Hwanghaedo-gut in two ways: One is the appearance of practicing and preparing the gut (exorcism) around intangible cultural properties and the other is to establish the intrinsic nature of the gut and find the innate appearance for the shamans to keep. Through this effort, it suggests that Hwanghaedo-gut has the designation for the intangible cultural properties on its mind externally while intends to keep its innate appearance internally. The recent Hwanghaedo-gut practice has broken significantly compared to the past but it is presented that it keeps the principles that it is supposed in the same context. In addition, it points out that the role of the Janggu player who is in charge of music has diminished as a sign of drastic change of Hwanghaedo-gut. It may be the same Gangsinmu-gut, but Hwanghaedo-gut that has the stronger spirituality of god and more fierce in practice than Seoul-gut has its own intrinsic value. However, although Hwanghaedo-gut keeps its appearance in tact, but there are significant changes in its internal structure or singing method that the future of Hwanghaedo-gut is considered a little unclear. In the future, it is required to find out the status of Hwanghaedo-gut while find out the internal structure and the practice principles of Hwanghaedo-gut that is not so well-known. Hwanghaedo-gut has insufficient studies compared to any other regions. It is presented as the future issues to have continuous interests in Hwanghaedo-gut and come up with research outcome on this issue.
