최근 디지털 가상화폐로서 비트코인이 주목받고 있다. 본 연구는 비트코인 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대해 알아보기 위해 기술수용모델(TAM)을 확장하여 적용하였다. 사회적 특성으로 주관적 규범, 개인적 특성으로 자기효능감, 개인적 혁신성을, 비트코인의 특성으로 경제성, 지불 편의성, 신뢰성, 위험성을 설정하였다. 특히 최근 비트코인에 대한 지나친 가격변동성 및 범죄수단으로 악용이 빈번하게 일어나 위험성은 사용의도에 직접적인 요인으로 추가하였다. 실증적 연구결과, 본 연구에서 제안한 TAM 기반의 모형은 비트코인 사용을 예측하는데 도움이 되는 것을 알 수 있었다.
Bitcoin, a digital virtual currency, has attracted attention in recent years. This study aims to extend the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to investigate the factors affecting the intention of using Bitcoin including Self-efficacy, User innovativeness, Economic efficiency, Reliability, Perceived ease of use, and Perceived risk due to the core essences of Bitcoin. Especially, the excessive fluctuation in price, the frequent abuse and exploitation of crime, and other latent risk have directly influenced the intention of using Bitcoin. This study shows the proposed model based on the Technology Acceptance Model is useful in predicting the intention of using Bitcoin. el.
