본 연구의 목적은 중국인들의 한국 드라마 시청이 타문화유입 수용성 증진에 미치는 영향에 한류호감 및 문화근접성이 미치는 매개효과를 실증적으로 규명하고자 하였다. 조사 대상자들은 중국 7개성 11개 도시에 거주하는 30대 미만의 남녀이다. 구조 방정식 모형(SEM)에 근거하여 모형에 포함된 직접효과 및 간접효과를 입증하였다. 매개효과 분석은 편향수정 부트스트레핑 방법(bias-corrected bootstrapping)을 이용하여 검증하였다. 자료 분석을 통해서 밝혀진 주요 사실들은 요약하면, 첫째, 한국 드라마 시청이 문화근접성에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 못했지만, 한류호감을 완전 매개로 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있음이 입증되었다. 둘째 한류 호감이 문화유입 수용성에 직접적인 영향을 미치지는 않지만, 문화 근접성을 완전 매개로 유의한 영향을 미칠 수 있음이 밝혀졌다. 셋째, 문화근접성은 문화유입 수용성 증진에 직접적으로 유의한 영향을 주는 것이 확인되었다. 한국 문화를 포함한 타문화가 중국 사회에 유입되는 것을 중국인들이 수용하는데 중국인들의 한국 드라마 시청이 긍정적인 영향을 미치기 위해서는, 한국 드라마를 시청을 통해서 중국인들의 한류에 대한 호감을 높이고, 한류에 대한 호감과 함께, 한국문화에 대해서 중국인들이 문화 근접성을 확인할 수 있도록 접근하는 것이 매우 효과적일 수 있다는 결론을 내리게 되었다.
The predominant concern of the study consist of: (1) the direct effect of Chinese's viewing degree of Korean drama on the receptiveness to foreign cultural inflow; (2) the mediating effect of favorable sentiment toward Korean wave and cultural proximity each. The research is based on a survey conducted with 695 Chinese people under 30, located in twelve cities of six provinces. In order for respondents to verify research questions, structural equation models were explored. The mediating effect analysis was verified using a bias-corrected boot-strapping method. The notable findings are as follow: First, although Korean TV dramas do not directly affect cultural proximity, the favorable sentiment toward Korean Wave have a indirect effect on between them as a mediator. Second, it is found that the liking of Korean Wave does not directly affect the acceptance of foreign cultural influences, but the effect of cultural proximity is significant as a full mediator between them. Third, cultural proximity has been found to have a direct impact on enhancing the receptiveness to foreign culture inflows. In order for the Chinese people to accept the influx of other cultures including Korean Wave culture into Chinese society, it is necessary for Chinese people to have a positive influence on Korean dramas. In other words, by watching the Korean drama, it was concluded that it would be very effective to increase the favorability of the Chinese people to the Korean Wave, and to approach the Chinese culture to confirm the cultural proximity to the Korean culture.
