The paper will focus on how to apply the hermeneutic method from Paul Ricoeur's suggestion on the order of time in narrating. When one subject obtains a new perspective from another speaker's horizon, he or she may use the method of narrative in time to approach within the inner part of time in other's cultural horizon. For example in order to obtain good understanding from another's context, we may apply the method of narrative not only from our own time and space, but from other's approach to focus on how does this "other" speaker use as the order of time. The method of narrative in time means to face the distance between the beginning timing from the speaker's concern, and then to move back to his/her historical timing in the text. And then from the new order of timing from present narrative toward both the past and future identity in narrating, the subject may understand a new order of time from the other's present narrative on his/her past and future. By this method, the narrative in time may get understanding from the present narrative about the past. And from the understanding about the past event, the subject may understand why this other person has the current understanding about future action. Intercultural philosophizing may need this kind of method on narrative in time in order to obtain different cultural perspective via narrative in time.
