본고의 목적은 모어화자와 일본어 비모어화자의 첫 대면 장면에 있어 서로가받는 평가와 인상은 어떻게 다르며 이 평가와 인상은 어떠한 요인에 기인하는것인지를 밝히는 것이다. 본고에서는 일본어 모어화자와 한국에 거주하는 한국인 상급 일본어 학습자를 대상으로, 평가와 인상을 커뮤니케이션 능력 항목 및대인인상평가 항목 2개로 나눠서 조사하였다. 먼저 커뮤니케이션 능력은, 하위항목인 문법능력, 담화능력, 사회언어능력, 전략(strategy) 4항목 중 모어화자는 담화능력 및 사회언어능력에 주목하여 평가하는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 모어화자인 경우 담화능력을 중심으로 평가하는것으로 밝혀졌다. 대인인상평가를 말하자면, 모어화자의 경우 커뮤니케이션 능력과 마찬가지로 대화 진행을 중요시하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 모어화자가 담화능력을 중심으로 평가하게 된 원인은, 모어화자인 자신이 대화를 리드하는 역할을 맡아야한다는 것을 무의식중에 인식하고 있기 때문이라고 본다. 그리고 이 때문에 평가 관점이 주로 대화 진행에 관계된 담화능력에 초점을 맞추게 된 것으로 생각된다. 또한 부정적인 평가가 있더라도 대화 전체에 대해 부정적으로 평가한 점이 대화의 일부이었을 경우 대인인상에 크게 영향을 미치지 않았음을 알 수있었다.


The purpose of this study is clarify the difference between the evaluation and the impression when the Japanese native speakers and the Japanese learners' first meeting. Also what factors are mainly caused by the evaluation and the impression. Targets of analysis for this research are the Japanese native speakers and the Japanese learners of advanced level who lives in Korea. The evaluation and the impression has divided in two categories of the 1) communication ability and 2) the evaluation of an interpersonal impression. At first, the communication ability is divided into four categories - grammar ability, discourse ability, social language ability and strategy ability. Communication ability was revealed that the native speakers usually pay attention to discourse ability and social language ability. Also they show the tendency to evaluate the ability of discourse. Secondly, in terms of interpersonal impression, It was revealed that the discourse ability was related to the impression deeply. And it also revealed that importance of conversational progress is as with the communication ability. The reason why the Japanese native speakers evaluate communication ability most is that they unconsciously recognize the importance of it when they take a role of leading the conversation with Japanese learners. And to conclude, In Japanese native speakers' experience-play a leading role in conversation- have an effect on their viewpoint of evaluation to Japanese learners. They mainly focus on communication ability which is tied to conversational progress. One can presume that just as how Japanese native speakers would as with as assesse the communication ability of Japanese learners , they guess that focus on discourse ability. Some of them There were cases that showed that there is a correlation between communication skills and interpersonal impressions. However,there were also instances where regardless of communication skills, age and social status impacted one's Impression of another individual.
