본 연구의 목적은 동화를 활용한 창의적 문제해결 프로그램이 단순언어장애 아동들의 창의적 문제해결력과 어휘력 및 이야기 구성 능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 연구 목적에 따라 경상남도 P시와 K시에 거주하고 있는 단순언어장애 아동 12명을 연구대상으로 선정하였으며, 실험집단에 6명, 통제집단에 6명을 배치하여 동화를 활용한 창의적 문제해결 프로그램을 적용하였다. 동화를 활용한 창의적 문제해결 프로그램을 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창의성의 하위 영역인 유창성, 융통성, 독창성과 문제해결력의 하위 요소인 해결의 질과 독창성을 중재 전과 중재 후로 구분하여 두 집단 간 변화량의 차이를 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 모든 하위요인에서 두 집단 간 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 어휘력의 수용·표현 능력을 중재 전과 중재 후로 구분하여 두 집단 간 변화량을 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 수용·표현 능력의 모든 요인에서 두 집단 간 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 이야기 구성 능력의 하위 영역인 이야기 구조와 길이를 중재 전과 중재 후로 구분하여 집단 간 변화량을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 모든 하위요인에서 두 집단 간 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 따라서 본 연구는 동화를 활용한 창의적 문제해결 프로그램이 단순언어장애 아동들의 창의적 문제해결력과 어휘력 및 이야기 구성 능력을 향상시키는 데 효과적임을 입증하였다. 이것은 아동들이 동화 속의 문제 상황을 다양한 어휘를 이용하여 창의적으로 해결하는 과정을 이야기 구조에 맞게 창의적으로 표현한 결과라 해석된다.
The purpose of the this study is to investigate the effect of creative problem solving program using a fairy tale on creative problem solving ability, vocabulary and story composition ability of children with simple language disabilities. According to the purpose of study, 12 children with simple language disabilities who live in P and K cities of Gyeongsangnam-do were selected as research subjects. And 6 children were assigned to the experimental group and control group respectively, a creative problem solving program using a fairy tale was applied. Results of creative problem solving program using fairy tales are as follows. First, I looked at the differences in the amount of change between the two groups for "the fluency, flexibility, originality of sub-areas of creativity"and "the quality of resolution, originality of sub-areas of problem solving ability", by dividing before and after mediation. As a result, there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups in all the sub-factors. Second, I looked at the amount of change between the two groups for the acceptance and expression ability of the vocabulary, by deviding before and after mediation. As a result, there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups in all the sub-factors : the acceptance and expression ability. Third, I looked at the amount of change between the two groups for the story structure and length of sub-areas of story composition ability, by deviding before and after mediation. As a result, there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups in all the sub-factors. Therefore, this study proved that the creative problem solving program using a fairy tale is effective to improve the creative problem solving ability, vocabulary and story composition ability of children with simple language disabilities. This is interpreted as a result of creatively expressing the process of children's creative solving the problem situation in the fairy tale using various vocabulary according to story structure.
