치위생(학)과 학생들의 임상실습 만족도에 영향을미치는 관련 요인을 파악하고자 일부 전북, 전남 지역치위생(학)과 중 임상실습을 경험한 학생을 대상으로자기기입식 방법으로 설문을 작성하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 일반적 특성에서 전문직 자아개념은 대인관계, 주관적 구강건강에서 높게 나타났고, 자아존중감은 학년, 경제적 수준, 대인관계, 주관적인 구강건강, 임상실습 만족도는 학년에서 높게 나타났다. 임상실습특성에서 전문직 자아개념은 실습 장소가 치과의원, 학교생활 만족도, 전공만족도, 자아존중감은 실습횟수, 학교생활 만족도, 전공만족도, 임상실습 만족도는 실습횟수, 치과위생사 실습지도, 학교생활 만족도, 전공만족도에서 높게 나타났다. 전문직 자아개념과 자아존중감, 전문직 자아개념과 임상실습 만족도, 자아존중감과임상실습 만족도는 각각 유의한 정의 상관관계를 나타냈다. 전문직 자아개념, 자아존중감이 임상실습 만족도의 영향 요인으로 나타났고, 모형의 설명력은 25.2%를보였다. 이상의 결과, 학교 교육에서 학생들의 임상실습에 대한 만족도를 제고하기 위한 사회심리적 측면에서의 체계적인 교육 및 지지가 필요한 것으로 나타났다.


The purpose of this study was to identify the relevant factors affecting clinical practice satisfaction among dental hygiene students; dental hygiene students having experienced clinical practice were asked to complete a self-administered questionnaire from November 14 to December 15, 2016. As for the general characteristics, professional self-concept was more related to interpersonal relationships; self-esteem was more related to academic year and clinical practice satisfaction was more related to academic year. As for the clinical practice characteristics, professional self-concept was more related to dental clinics as practice sites, school life satisfaction; self-esteem was more related to the number of practices, school life satisfaction; and clinical practice satisfaction was more related to the number of practices. There was significant positive correlation between professional self-concept and self-esteem, between professional self-concept and clinical practice satisfaction, and between self-esteem and clinical practice satisfaction. Professional self-concept and self-esteem were found to be the factors affecting clinical practice satisfaction and the model accounted for 25.2%. On the basis of these results, it is necessary to give systematic education and support at the socio-psychological level with the objective of improving satisfaction with clinical practice among students in school education.
