This article analyzes lexical selection of translators in the process of translation “Похвално слово за св. Кирил Философ” into 5 contemporary Bulgarian language texts. In the article, the author compares uniformity features and diversity features of the Kliment’s lexicon in the modern Bulgarian translations, specially in Bible citations. The different versions of Kliments works in the middle Bulgarian ages are caused by different reasons. Also the reasons of different translator‘s solutions(or lexical preferences in the process of translations) are found in many cases. They are innovations and word ranges of the translator, translator‘s preference and educational background, concerning the tentative readers. In the second part of the article is reviewed and analyzed the translation correspondences of bible citations in the “Похвално слово за св. Кирил Философ” to 5 modern Bulgarian translations. The results are shown in the tableau as follows: In conclusion, the modern translators of Kliment’s “Похвално слово за св. Кирил Философ” prefer to archaic corresponding forms of Bible citations in their works(about 76%, fully and partly corresponding forms). This is some different phenomenon from text translations like Old Slavic Chronicle.
