이 글은 19세기의 선비가 만든 것으로 추정되는 교양서의 하나인 ≪士子須知≫를 소개하고, 그것을 같은 유형의 자료로 이미 학계에 소개된 ≪經俚襍說≫ ≪公私恒用錄≫과 비교 검토하여 이들 자료의 전반적 특징을 확인하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 세 자료를 검토한 결과, 이 시기의 문서식과 관련해서는 ≪典律通補 別編≫의 내용이 토대가 되었다는 사실을, 이두 관련 자료는 주로 ≪儒胥必知≫가 토대가 되었다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었다. 아울러지금까지 ≪公私恒用錄≫의 것이 유일한 것으로 알려졌던 한역 속담 자료 <東言解>가 ≪士子須知≫에도 실려 있으며 그것이 더 많은 항목을 싣고 있다는 사실도 함께 확인할 수 있었다. 한편 검토 대상이 된 세 자료의 구성 및 내용을 이미 잘 알려져 있는 이두 관련 자료인 ≪儒胥必知≫ 및 ≪吏文襍例≫와 비교하여, 동양문고본 ≪吏文襍例≫가 ≪儒胥必知≫를 요약하는 방식으로 만들어진 것일 가능성을 제기하였다.
The purpose of this paper is to compare three manuscripts, namely Sa-Ja-Su-Ji, Kyeong-Ri-Jab-Seol and Kong-Sa-Hang- Yong-Rok, and to clarify the characteristics of the books. We have found that the standard documant formulae described in the books are based on the Jeon-Yul-Thong-Bo Pyeol-Pheon which was complied at late 19C by Ku, YunMyong. Materials in Yu-Seo-Phil -Ji also have influenced much on the three books’ contents on Idu, I-Du-Hwi-Phyeon and I-Mun-Jap-Rye which is one of the collections of Dong-Yang Library in Japan. Finally we found that Don-Eon-Hae in Sa-Ja-Su-Ji, is another copy of the chinese translations of korean folk proverbs with more entries, compared with the one with same name in Kong-Sa-Hang-Yong-Rok. The author have suggested there is possibility that I-Mun-Jap-Rye has made by summing up the contents of Yu-Seo-Phil-Ji.
