본 연구에서는 KAP에서 다루어지는 주요 개념들에 대한 문헌 검토를 통해 KAP의 핵심이라 할 수 있는 학술적 문식성의 개념을 정의하고, 관련 개념과의 관계를 살펴보는 것을 일차적 목적으로 한다. 학술적 문식성 습득은 KAP의 주된 목표이며, 이때 학술적 문식성은 해당 전공 영역의 맥락에서 텍스트를 이해하고 활용, 생산할 수 있는 학습 기술 및 언어적․인지적 지식을 통합하는 개념이다. 교육적 관점에서 학문 목적 한국어 교육의 학술적 문식성은 언어 문식성, 매체 문식성, 문화적 문식성, 비판적 문식성의 하위 요소로 구성되는 것으로 확장해 볼 필요가 있으며, 이때 교육적 적용을 위해서는 구체 학문 분야의 특수성을 인정하는 학술적 문식성 접근법의 관점에서 접근해야 한다.
This study aims to define academic literacy which is considered to be a core of KAP and to examine relationship with relative concepts closely through review of literature. The acquisition of academic literacy is the major goal Education of Korean for academic purposes. Academic literacy is the integrated concept of study skills which make students to understand, produce and use a text in a specific discipline context. From a educational viewpoint, academic literacy consists of four sub-elements:language literacy, media literacy, cultural literacy, critical literacy. To apply to practical education, academic literacy is supposed to be considered in a context of academic literacies approach.
