북한이탈주민의 남한입국이 계속 증가하고 있다. 하지만 이들은 남한사회의 적응과 삶에 많은 어려움을 겪고 있어 이런 어려움의 원인에 대해 분석해 볼 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구는 국내 북한이탈주민을 대상으로 사회적응 및 삶의 질에 대한 사회적 지지의 영향에 대해 경험적 연구다. 이를 위해 선행연구를 진행하고 이를 통해 삶의질에 영향을 미치는 사회적 지지와 사회적응에 관한 요인들을 탐색하고 연구모형을 도출하였으며, 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 설문조사를 실시하고 분석하였다. 연구결과, 사회적지지에 있어서 정서적 지지 요인은 사회적응과 삶의 질에 대해 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 작업적 지지 요인은 삶의 질에는 통계적으로 유의미하게영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만 사회적응에는 대해서는 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 또한 사회적응의 요인들은 삶의 질에 대해 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을미치지 못하였다. 따라서 북한이탈주민의 삶의 질 향상을 위해 이들에 대한 관심과 정서적 지지 그리고 작업적 지지와 관련된 프로그램 개발과 제도적 지원이 필요하다. 그러나향후의 연구에서는 표본의 확대와 다양한 변수에 대한 분석이 필요하다고 할 수 있다.
The number of north korean detector is increasing but they are suffering many difficulties to adapt and live in south korea society. Therefore it has to explore cause of the difficulties. This study aim to analysis empirically on the relationship between social support, social adjustment and quality of life(QOL) on the north korean defectors. To achieve objectives of study, it was to draw factors on social support and social adjustment as factors affecting the degree of QOL and to draw factors on social support as a factor affecting the degree of social adjustment. And the research model was derived. According to the result of study, emotional support factor was statistically significant to influence on the degree of social adjustment and QOL. Working support factor was not statistically significant on degree of QOL but on social adjustment. And factors of social adjustment was not statistically significant on degree of QOL. For increasing QOL of north korean detector, it needs interest, emotional support and working support for them. In future's studies, it is necessary to enlarge samples and to research various variable in coming studies.
