제주 인구의 고령화 속도가 빨라지고 있으나 노후생활 준비는 미흡하며, 노인의 4고를 해결하기 위해서는 퇴직 후 소득 공백을 해소할 재취업 등 일자리 제공이요청되고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제의식을 바탕으로 노인일자리의 참여와 사회적 자본의 관계를 분석하고자 하였으며, 사회적 자본의 수준을 측정하기 위한 하위요인을 네트워크, 신뢰, 규범으로 설정하였다. 실증 분석을 위해 제주특별자치도 제주시 지역 시니어클럽과 주민자치센터에서 실시한 노인일자리 참여 노인 216명의 설문조사 결과를 최종적으로 활용하였고, SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 이용한 빈도분석, 기술통계, 상관분석, T-검정, 일원분산분석(ANOVA), 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 노인일자리에 참여한 노인들의 참여 유형 중 환경 개선형 공익활동은 규범이나 사회적 자본 전체에 부정적인 영향을 미치고, 참여 만족도가 높을수록 네트워크, 신뢰, 사회적 자본 전체에 긍정적인 영향을미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 제주 노인의 욕구에 부응하는 맞춤형 일자리의 마련, 생계형 일자리의 확대, 마을의 특성과 연계된 일자리의 개발, 노동･휴식･보람을 얻는 일자리의 발굴, 노인평생교육 운영 방안 조성 등 참여 만족도를 제고하고, 참여 노인의 사회적 자본을 활성화하기 위한 실천적･정책적 함의를 제시하였다.
The population of Jeju is rapidly aging, but the preparation for retirement is insufficient. In order to solve the four(4) troubles of the elderly, it is required to provide jobs such as reemployment to eliminate the vacancies after retirement. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of participation of the elderly job on the social capital based on the consciousness of the problem. The sub-factors to measure the level of social capital were set as network, trust and norm. For the empirical analysis, the results of the questionnaire survey of 216 seniors participating in the elderly job in the Jeju Special Self-Governing District Senior Citizen’s Center and Citizen’s Self-governing Center were finally used. Utilizing SPSS 18.0, Frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, T-test, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis were performed. The results of this study indicate that among the participation types of elderly people participating in the elderly job, the environmental improvement type public service activities negatively affect the norm or social capital as a whole, and the higher the participation satisfaction, the more positively the network, the trust and the social capital. Based on the results of this study, it was found that the satisfaction of the participants was improved regarding the provision of customized jobs to meet the needs of the elderly in Jeju, the expansion of livelihood jobs, the development of jobs linked to the characteristics of villages, and the finding jobs to fit their goals, and suggested practical and policy implications for activating the social capital of participating elderly people.
