본 연구는 「2015년 예술인 실태조사」자료를 이용하여 공연예술 종사자들의 사회・경제적 특성이 예술활동 만족도에 미치는 영향력 분석을 통해 공연예술인이 인지하는 예술활동 가치와 만족을 파악 하고자 하였다. 특히 공연예술은 분야별로 이질성이 크기 때문에 공연예술을 음악, 대중음악, 국악, 무 용, 연극의 다섯 그룹으로 나누어 분야별 종사자들의 예술활동 수입, 예술활동 경력 및 창작지원금 수 혜 여부에 따른 예술활동 만족도의 차이를 분석 하였다. 회귀분석 분석 결과, 예술경력이 대체로 높고, 예술활동을 통한 수입이 높을수록, 공공부문의 창작 지원금을 수혜 받은 경우, 그리고 많지는 않지만 일정정도 해당 예술분야에 대한 교육훈련비를 지출할 수록 예술활동 만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 예술인에 대한 유・무 형의 지원의 당위성을 뒷받침한다는 기존 연구와 동일한 시사점을 도출할 수 있었으며, 향후 예술 분 야별 특성을 고려하여 공공과 민간부문의 효과적인 역할 분담을 통한 시의 적절한 지원이 더욱 중요 하다는 것을 시사하고 있다.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the stisfaction of Korean performing artists. More specifically, we estimate the effect of sociodemographic and economic factors on the activities satisfaction of artists using 2015 Survey Report on Artists and Activities data. The results show that longer work hours and appropriate income levels have a positive impact on the activities satisfaction of artistic workers. In addition, we found that higher activities satisfaction can be attributed quality of life and grant benefits. Considering the heterogeneity in performing arts sectors, it was separated into music, pop music, traditional music, dance and theater, performing arts categories. The results suggest that artists longer career artists are more satisfied and that the activities satisfaction of art depends on the type and size of grants.
