Study on Kim So–wol’s Japanese Creation of Poetry

이제까지 대부분 연구자들은 소월에 대해 전통이라는 맥락에서 거론해왔으나 이 논문의 목적은 한국 근대시가 왜래 요소를 수용하여 한국시의 동력원을 만드는 과정을 소월의 일본어 작품을 통해 살펴보는 것이다. 따라서 소월의 일본어 창작활동에 집중하고 그 의의를 밝힌다. 소월의 시의 일본어 특징에 대해 생각하고, 영국 낭만파 시와의 관련에 대해서 살피기도 한다. 특히 일본의 역시집 『오모카게』와의 비교를 시도하고 그 근거에 대해 설명하겠다. 「무제 19」를 통해서는 그의 한국어 시와 일본어 시를 문화번역이라는 개념을 가지고 어휘 분석을 한다. 이러한 시도를 통해 소월의 일본어 창작의 배후에 숨어 있는 원리를 찾게 될 것을 기대한다. 소월에게는 일본어로의 창작이라는 작업이 결코 쉽지 않았을 것이다. 낯선 언어체계 속에서 새로운 시야 확보를 위해 겪었을 갈등을 이겨내는 과정을 통해 문학적 실력을 키워가며 한국 근대시를 대표하는 시정을 획득해 가는 소월의 일면을 고찰한다.

Most researchers studied Kim So-wol in relation to tradition. The purpose of this paper, however, is to investigate the process by which Korean modern poetry accepts elements of foreign poetry through the japanese works of Kim So–wol. Therefore, this paper focuses on the activities of Kim So-wol in Japan and reveals its importance. Through the Japanese works of Kim So-wol, I will examine the characteristics of Japanese and look at the relationship with the romantic poetry of England. In particular, I will explain the basics in comparison with the Japanese translation book 『Omokage』. Through 「Untitled No.19」, analyzing Kim So-wol's Korean and Japanese poetry as the concept of cultural translation. Through these attempts, I hope to discover the principles behind his creation of Japanese works. For Kim So-wol, it would not have been easy to create in Japanese .Through his process of overcoming conflicts in order to secure a new vision in an unfamiliar language system, Kim So-wol acquired literary skills and represented modern Korean poets.
