이 연구의 목적은 예비유아교사의 학년별 교직윤리의식과 도덕적 판단력을 알아보고, 예비유아교사의 교직윤리의식 수준이 도덕적 판단력 간의 관계를 탐색해보는데 목적이 있다. 2016년 8월 31일부터 9월 2일까지 부산광역시에 소재하고 있는 4개 대학의 예비유아교사 184명을 대상으로, 유아 교사용 교직윤리의식 검사도구와 유아교사용 도덕적 판단력 검사 도구를 사용하였다. 연구결과는 첫째 예비유아교사 교직윤리의식에서 2학년은 교사 개인에 대한 윤리, 3학년은 동료에 대한 윤리가 가장 높게 나타났으며, 2학년은 가정에 대한 윤리, 3학년은 사회에 대한 윤리가 가장 낮게 나타났다. 예비유아교사의 학년별 교직윤리의식은 유아에 대한 윤리, 동료에 대한 윤리, 교사 개인에 대한 윤리에서 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 학년별 도덕적 판단력의 차이는, 3학년이 2학년에 비하여 도덕적 판단력의 수준이 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 예비유아교사의 교직윤리의식 수준을 상집단, 중집단, 하집단으로 나누어 살펴본 결과, 예비유아교사의 교직윤리의식 수준이 높아짐에 따라 예비유아교사의 도덕적 판단력 점수도 높아지는 연구결과가 나타났다. 예비유아교사의 도덕적 판단력에서 교직윤리의식 수준의 상집단과 하집단 간에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 예비유아교사의 교직윤리의식과 도덕적 판단력은 학년별로 모두 유의미한 차이가 있으며, 교직윤리의식과 도덕적 판단력은 서로 밀접한 관련이 있음을 알 수 있다.


The purpose of this study was to examine early childhood teachers' consciousness of professional ethics in teaching and moral judgment by academic year and the relationship between the levels of their consciousness of professional ethics in teaching and moral judgment. The subjects in this study were 184 selected preservice early childhood teachers in four different colleges located in the city of Busan. An inventory of consciousness of professional ethics in teaching for early childhood teachers and a moral judgment inventory for early childhood teachers were used. The findings of the study were as follows: First, as for consciousness of professional ethics in teaching, juniors had the strongest consciousness of ethics about individual teachers, and the seniors had the strongest consciousness of ethics about colleagues. The former had the weakest consciousness of ethics about homes, and the latter had the weakest consciousness of ethics about society. Concerning consciousness of professional ethics in teaching by academic year, there were significant differences according to that in ethics about preschoolers, colleagues and individual teachers. Second, whether there were any differences among the preservice early childhood teachers in moral judgment by academic year was analyzed. As a result, the seniors were at a higher level than the juniors in that regard. Third, when they were divided into upper-level, middle-level and lower-level groups according to the level of consciousness of professional ethics in teaching, the teachers who were at a higher level scored higher in moral judgment. There was a difference between the upper-level group and the lower-level group in moral judgment. The findings of the study illustrated that there were significant differences among the preservice early childhood teachers in consciousness of professional ethics in teaching and moral judgment according to academic year, and that there was a close relationship between their consciousness of professional ethics in teaching and moral judgment.
