Today, there is growing interest in sport. The article demonstrated the individual's social influence and importance of emotion by doing sports experience. Specifically, we investigated causal relationship between consumption type and emotional response through sports activities. According to results, first, autotelic action in consumption typology of sports experience(vs. instrument action) had more emotional responses such as anxiety and anger. On the contrary, instrument action in consumption typology of sports experience (vs. autotelic action) had more positive emotional responses such as happiness and pleasure. Second, respondents with instrument action showed higher level of overall satisfaction than respondents with autotelic action.
