The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of hotel employees' perception of organizational politics on innovative behavior and organizational silence and to analyze the moderating effect of political skill. A questionnaire survey was conducted on the hotel employees in Seoul, and 252 valid samples were analyzed. The results show that organizational perception of politics reduces innovative behavior and increases organizational silence. It reveals that political action actually exists in the hotel organization and affects the behavior of employees who perceive it. Political skill has a significant effect on the relationship between political perception and innovative behavior, and has no significant effect on organizational silence. The results show that organizational perception of politics can be a antecedent factor in reducing innovative behavior and increasing organizational silence, and political skill can play a role as a moderator. In the future research, it is necessary to study the positive effects of organizational politics and various motivations of organizational silence.
