이글은 HK 지리산권문화연구단의 연구성과를 총결하면서 지리산인문학이라는 새로운 범주의 학문으로의 이전을 준비하는 과정 중의 하나로 씌어진 것이다. 이를 위해 우선 지리산권문화연구라는 HK사업의 아젠다가 갖는 ‘징후’로서의 특징을 살펴보았다. 10년전 징후읽기와 그에 대한 대응으로 시작한 HK사업은 10년 후 제4차 산업혁명이라는 거대한 물결로 본모습을 드러냈다는 것이다. 따라서 이제 HK사업으로서의 지리산권문화연구와 지리산인문학은 한국사회에서 제4차 산업혁명에 대한 급박한 대응으로서 복무해야 한다는 것이다. 이를 위해 이글에서는 먼저 지리산권에서 산출한 고전문학 작품들이 어떤 것이 있는가부터 살펴보았다. 고전문학은 전통시대에 산출한 국문문학과 한문서사를 총칭하는 것이며 여기에 구비문학인 민요와 설화를 포함한다. 지리산권고전문학 작품들을 쭉 열거해본 결과 전기소설이나 판소리, 동학가사 등 고전문학에서 가장 뛰어난 작품들이 이 지역에서 산출되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이어서 지리산권고전문학이 제4차 산업혁명의 특징들을 갖추고 있으며 이를통해 제4차 산업혁명의 한국적 전개에 시사를 줄 수 있다는 점을 설명하였다. 작품세계는 기본적으로 증강현실의 의미를 가지고 있으며, 작품과 사람들을 엮어 하나의 장르가 생성되는 현장의 운동 논리는 기본적으로 지능과 연결로 대표되는 제4차 산업혁명의 前驅的 특징으로 볼 수 있다는 것이다. 이글에서는 일단 지리산인문학과 지리산권고전문학, 제4차 산업혁명의 관계를 설명하기 위한시론 수준을 벗어나지 못하지만 앞으로 이러한 논의를 발전시켜 아젠다로서 지리산인문학의 임무를 수행하는 밑거름이 되고자 한다.
This study is written as one of the process of preparing for the transfer of a new category of scholarship to the Mt. Jiri humanities by summarizing the research result of the HK Mt. Jiri Cultural Study Group. I examined the characteristics of the HK agenda as a 'symptom'. Ten years ago, the HK Study Group started with reading symptoms and responding to it. 10 years later, it revealed itself as a huge wave of the Fourth Industrial Revolution . Therefore, this study is now necessary to serve as an urgent response to the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Korean society. For this purpose, I first looked at what classical literary works were produced in the Mt. Jiri region. Classical literature is a collective term of Korean literature and Chinese narritive literature that were produced in the traditional era. It includes folk songs and tales. As a result of enumerating the classical literary works of Mt. Jiri region, it was confirmed that the most outstanding works of classical literature such as narrives, Pansori, and Donghakgasa were produced in this region. I then explained that the classics literature of Mt. Jiri had features of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and could give a hint to the Korean development of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The work world basically has the meaning of augmented reality, and the motive logic of the scene where a genre is created by combining works and people can be seen as a characteristic of the fourth industrial revolution represented by intelligence and connection. In this article, I can not escape from the level of an essay to explain the relationship between classical literature of the Mt. Jiri area and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, but I intend to develop this discussion in order to serve as the basis for carrying out the mission of Mt. Jiri humanities as an agenda.
