본 연구의 목적은 서예 미학 관점에서 본 예비교사들과의 두 번째 서예수업에 대한 내러티브 탐구이다. 이를 위해 서예 창작에 관한 미학적 검토를 한 후에 3명의 연구 참여 학생을 선정하여 내러티브 탐구를 진행하였다. 연구자는 ‘미래 서예교육의 방향성’과 ‘서예 교수․학습 방법’에 관한 두 측면에서 탐색하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 학생들은 임서(臨書)에 대한 서로 다른 태도를 보였다. 우리는 학생들에게 서예의 정신성과 형태를 함께 강조하면서도 전통서예 방식에만 치우치지 말고, 보다 자유로운 현대서예 방식을 제안해줄 필요가 있다. 둘째, 학생들은 서예 쓰기에서 자신만의 방법으로 법칙을 찾아갔다. 학생들이 자신만의 방법으로 법칙을 찾아가는 과정은 서예가 놀이임을 깨닫게 한다. 서예는 정답이 없다고 본다. ‘어떻게’보다 ‘무엇이’ 우선되어야겠다. 그리하여 서예를 하고 난 연후, 학생들의 가슴에 무엇이 남아있는가가 중요한 것이다.
This study aims to search for the narrative of the second calligraphy class with pre-teachers from the viewpoint of calligraphy aesthetics. For this purpose, the theoretical examination was made on three aspects of calligraphy creation in terms of calligraphy aesthetics, ie, spirit and forms, philosophy and rules, and inherence and struggles. Three students participated in order to proceed the narrative inquiry in this research. The researcher focused on two issues: 'direction of future calligraphy education' and 'calligraphy instruction and method of learning'. As a result, first, students showed different attitudes toward Imseo(臨書). A more modern method of calligraphy should be suggested while we emphasize the spirituality and the form of calligraphy to students, but do not just rely on the traditional calligraphy style. Second, the students found rules in their own way in writing calligraphy. While the students are in the process of finding the rules in their own way, they figure out calligraphy as a play. There is no right answer in calligraphy. 'What' should take precedence over 'How'. Therefore, it is important what remains in students' hearts. after writing calligraphy.
