The purpose of this study is to find out a possibility of integration “grammar” and “reading” in Korean language education based on Critical Discourse Analysis(CDA), through recognizing that Korean subject materials could be used for domain integration. Concretely, this study focuses on the utility of materials to get over the limits of the current subject, “reading and grammar”, and finds out to draw various values and meanings in materials through the theoretical applying of CDA. And then this study watches the possibility of grammar and reading integration through CDA, because CDA has a deep consideration of linguistic features for the discourse analysis, and the linguistic features connect to the grammar domain in Korean language education which is a basis knowledge system for correct, efficient, and creative using Korean language. A chain of discourses have a meaning to widen the study of Korean subject materials, and to give a new perspective for the “grammar” and “reading” domain integration study which are just depending on contents elements currently.
