The purpose of this study is to explore the perception of the threat by immigrants for Koreans and effective factors on the perception of the threat by immigrants. To investigate predictors on perceived threat by foreigners and immigrants, a hierarchical multiple regression analysis was used. Only demographic variables were included in the first step and six components of multicultural acceptability were added in the second step. In the first step that has only 4% of explainable power, findings has indicated that individuals who are older, have a lower level of education, live in metropolitan area are more likely to report the higher scores on perceived threat by foreigners and immigrants. In the final step with 25% of explainable power, all components of multicultural acceptability except feelings of refusal and avoidance are significant predictors that individuals with higher scores on each component of multicultural acceptability tend to report lower levels of on perceived threat by foreigners and immigrants.
