본 논문은 필자의 대학 강의 경험을 바탕으로 새로운 강의의 형식과 내용을 모색하는 데 있다. 기존의 대학 강의는 강의자가 교육과정을 제시하고, 학생들이 충실히 교육과정을 따라가는 것이 주였다. 여기에서 학습자의 구체적 이해와 요구가 반영되지 않으며, 따라서 강의의 내용 역시 학습자의 삶의 정황과 무관하게 합리적이고 객관적 지식의 축적 과정이 되었다. 새로운 교육과정은 학습자와 교수자가 공동으로 교육과정을 구성하며, 맥락을 반영한 대화와 토론이 학습 내용을 이끌어가는 형식이다. 필자는 『데미안』이라는 문학 내러티브를 통해서 도덕과 교육 전공 강의의 대안적 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 교과 교육 전공자의 중요한 자질이 다양한 텍스트에 대한 해석 능력에 있음을 가정하면 이러한 해석 능력 함양을 위해 문학 내러티브는 좋은 교재가 될 수 있다. 더구나 『데미안』은 도덕성 발달 담론을 비판적으로 성찰할 수 있는 대화의 소재를 제공하기에 적합한 문학 내러티브라고 볼 수 있다.
This paper aims the new approach to a lecture of higher education. Most lectures have been done by teachers oriented system - teachers presented curriculum, and students followed it correctly. This system could not include students' concrete interests and desires, so the study meant the accumulation of rational and object knowledge. New curriculum is made by cooperation of a teacher and students, and facilitates the dialogue and discussion on the basis of participants' lives. Literature, 『Demian』 is a good material of new curriculum. This enhances the hermeneutic capacity of future teachers of moral education. Also, this literature gives a critical discourse of moral development and education.
