본고는 淸 문인 黃爵滋(1793～1853)의 생애와 저작을 소개하고, 그의 自撰年譜인 『仙屛書屋初集年記』에 수록된 조선 문인들의 서신과 필담의 내용을 살핀 것이다. 황작자는 19세기 전반기에 청조 문단을 이끈 인물로, 북경을 방문한 조선 문인과 적극적으로 만나면서 양국의 교류에 있어 가장 큰 중개자 역할을 하였다. 『선병서옥초집연기』는 1816년부터 1846년까지 황작자의 관직과 교유의 행적을 정리한 책이다. 연도순으로 卷次가 나뉘어 있으며 각 권의 첫머리에는 벼슬에 임명된 날짜와 조정에 올린 奏疏 등이 기록되어 있고 지인들에게 받은 詩文과 手札, 筆談 등도 함께 수록되어 있다. 시문은 대체로 벗과 선후배들이 황작자의 유람, 그림, 건물 등에 대해 쓴 記․銘․詞․題詩․題辭, 황작자의 생일을 기념한 贈詩, 황작자가 주관한 시회에 관한 詩․賦․序․跋 등이 많으며, 수찰에서는 정치, 문학, 학술에 관한 다양한 의견을 교환하고 있다. 이를 통해 황작자의 행적과 정치 행보를 살필 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 구체적인 교유 과정과 교제한 인물들의 성향도 확인할 수 있다. 특히 권21～25에는 1836년부터 1840년까지 황작자가 교유한 조선측 인사 9명의 手札 27편, 筆談 3편, 詩文 5편이 수록되어 있다. 1834년 동지 정사 李翊會의 자제군관 李時敏(1797～?)과 李曦(1782～?), 1835년 동지 부사 趙斗淳(1796～1870), 1836년 동지 정사 申在植(1770～1843)과 수행원 李鳳寧(1793～1871), 1837년 동지 정사 朴綺壽(1774～1845), 1838년 동지사 서장관 李時在(1785～1852), 1839년 동지사 서장관 李正履(1783～1843)와 자제군관 李正觀(1792～1854)이 그들이다. 이들은 상대국에 자기 나라의 문인과 문학 동향을 소개하고, 漢學과 宋學에 대한 의견을 나누었으며, 서적과 금석문을 주고받는 등 활발히 교류하였다. 이후 황작자는 세상을 떠나기 전까지 조선의 李裕元․權大肯․徐念淳 등과 계속해서 교유를 이어나갔다.
This paper is to introduce the life and books of Huang Juezi(1793～1853), a literati from Qing Dynasty, and to look over the contents of letter and written conversation with Joseon literati, included in his chronological anthology, Xianping shuwu chuji nianji. Huang Juezi is a person who led the literary world of Qing Dynasty in the first half of 19th century, and he acted as the most important intermediary in cultural exchange between Joseon and Qing dynasty. Xianping shuwu chuji nianji is the book that organizes Huang Juezi’s public office and literati circle from 1816 to 1846. The book also includes poetry, prose, letter and written conversation from his acquaintances. Especially the volumes No.21～25 include letters, written conversations, poetry and prose by 9 Joseon envoys associated with Huang Juezi, from 1836 to 1840. The followings are 9 people; I Si-min and I Hui in 1834, Jo Du-sun in 1835, Sin Jae-sik and I Bong-nyeong in 1836, Bak Gi-su in 1837, I Si-jae in 1838, I Jeong-li and his brother I Jeong-gwan in 1839. Huang Juezi and Joseon Envoys actively interacted by introducing literati and literature trend of their country to partner, exchanging opinion in regard to philology and philosophy, exchanging books and epigraph. Then, Huang Juezi kept continuous association with I Yu-won, Kwon Dae-geung, Seo Nyeom-sun, etc from Joseon, until he passed away.
