문집은 조선조 중기 이후서부터 문식을 지닌 선비라면 누구나 가져야하는 자격요건으로서 유지되어 왔다. 현재 남아있는 문집 중에는 자료화되어 손쉽게 다가갈 수 있게 된 저명문집도 있지만, 손도 대지 못한 채, 서고에 묶여있는 경우가 더 많다. 뿐만 아니라, 유일본으로 전승되던 문집의 유실이 빈번한 사례로 남아있기도 하다. 유실에 대처하는 방안은 가능한 추적을 통하여 반환을 모색함이 최선이겠지만, 시간과 비용 등등의 문제뿐만 아니라, 무조건 돌려오기만 하면 된다는 편의주의 사고에 대한 반성이 더욱 절실하다. 이런 점에서, 현존하는 관련 자료를 중심으로 문집을 재구하는 모색이 의미를 지닐 수 있다. 문집의 영속적인 가치를 일시적인 비용으로 교환하려는 가치 전도에서 놓여날 때에 문집 애호의 본질에 돌아가 진정한 문집 수호의 교양을 지닐 수 있게 될 것이다. 이 논문에서 제안한 『歸菴集』 재구의 기획을 존중하여 실제 편찬 작업이 실행되어서 현대판 『귀암집』이 출현한다면 문집의 보존과 관련하여 논의된 여러 가지 문제를 본질적으로 살피는 좋은 기회가 될 것이다.
The anthologies had sustained as the requirement of the Sunbee( the aesthetic scholar) after 16C. in Chosun dynasty. In Korea there remain unnumerable anthologies, in them are many out of touch. Unfortunately there have been accidents missing the sole text of the anthology. In that case, the returns by the persuits following the sought road are the best ways. But, we must keep in mind that the unconditioned returns are not the last targets. The valuable targets are the reflections on the past ignorance about the eternal value of the anthologies. In this respect, the reconstructions of the anthologies on the base of the present materials have the meaning. The opportunism changing the eternal value by the contemporary money makes the love of the anthologies vacant prejudice. The returns of the missed anthologies I've proposed in this paper will be realized by Wonju city as the case of <Guiamjip>(歸菴集) , and this event will bring about the good moment of the loving of the anthologies.
