본 논문은 ‘수사학적 방법을 통한 인성교육 방안’이라는 문제에 초점을 두고 있다. 최근 우리 사회는 많은 갈등과 위기들로부터 야기되는 많은 문제들을 안고 있다. 특히 소득 불균형으로 야기되는 불평등의 문제는 매우 심각하다. 여기서는 성적 지상주의가 최고의 가치 규범들로 자리 잡고 있는 우리의 교육 현실에 관해 논의할 것이다. 이러한 맥락에서, 우리의 현재 교육에서 시행되고 있는 인성교육은 그 효용성의 측면에서 문제가 있는 것으로 평가될 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 다음과 같은 점들, 즉 진정성 있는 인성교육의 회복과 수사학 방법을 말하고자 한다. 또한 인성교육의 정체성은 배려, 존중, 소통, 협동 등과 같은 주체적 자아와 공동체의 가치들을 실현하는 데 중점을 둔 관계적(사회적) 자아의 융합으로 규정될 수 있다. 생각하기-글쓰기-말하기의 올바른 조화를 추구하는 수사학은 인성교육의 기초로 자리매김 될 수 있으며, 또한 고전읽기를 통해서 현재에 적용할 수 있는 새로운 의미와 미래에 대한 창조적 전망을 할 수 있다. 우리의 고전읽기는 과거와 현재의 생산적인 대화이다. 결론적으로, 종합학문으로서의 수사학은 설득의 세 가지 요인으로 일컬어지는 로고스-파토스-에토스와 관련되어 있고, 이러한 사람다운 사람을 만들고자 하는 수사학은 인성교육의 기초로 자리 잡을 수 있다.
The main purpose of this paper is focused on the problem, ‘rhetoric method for character education’. Recently, our society has many problems that is derived from many conflicts and crises. Especially, the problem of inequality is due to income disparity is very serious. In this paper, I will argue about our educational actualities that learning by heart just for scores is settling into the most value norms. In this context, character education come into force in our present education can be evaluated as incomplete in the aspect of the effectiveness. So in this paper, I will show upon the basis of the following points, that is an recovery of authentic character education and rhetorical method. Also the identity of character education may be termed as an fusion of subjective self such as consideration, respect, communication, cooperation etc. and relational(social) self that is focused on the realization of the values of community. Rhetoric persue to an proper harmony of thinking-writing-speaking can be settled into as a basis of character education. Also we can do a creative prospect on future and create a new meaning that can be adoptable in the present through classics reading. Classics reading is a productive dialog of the past and the present. In conclusion, rhetoric as a synthetical science is connected with logos-pathos-ethos which is alleged an three elements of persuasion. Also this rhetoric hope to make a man of decent character can be settle into a basis of character education.
