통일 시대의 국어과 교과서에서 다루어야 할 장르로서 전래동요의 의의와 남북한 교과서에 수록된 전래동요의 현황을 알아보았다. 북한의 국어과 교과서 수록 전래동요는 단 한 편이다. 남한의 제1차 교육과정 이후 2009개정 교육과정까지 교과서에 수록된 전래동요의 유형을 분류하였다. 남한 교과서 전래동요의 유형 및 하위 유형별로 북한 지역에서 채록된 같은 유형의 각편을 조사해 보았다. 남한 교과서에 수록된 대부분의 전래동요는 북한 지역에 공통 유형의 전래동요를 가지고 있다.


This study aims to analyse the aspects and common types in the traditional children’s songs of the south and north korean language textbooks. It is very important and urgent subjects for the unification of the south and north korea. In the north korean language textbooks contain only one traditional children’s song. In the south korean language textbooks from the first curriculum to the 2009 curriculum contain 5 types traditional children’s song. Those are the songs of plays, songs of animals, songs of plants, songs of the atmospheres, song of the persons and things. The traditional children’s songs in the south korean language textbooks have the same roots with the traditional children’s songs in the north area. I think that the south and north peoples have the bases of sympathy in this point. But the north korean educational agents didn’t have the concern on the traditional children’s songs in long periods, we will emphasize on the traditional children’s songs after the unification of korea. The common types in the traditional children’s songs of the south and north korea can be used as the means to understand the differences of each other. And it can be used as the self identity educations.
