플립드* 러닝은 기존의 교사 중심 수업을 학생 중심의 수업으로 ‘뒤집은’ 새로운 교수법이다. 플립드 러닝은 근래 많은 영역에서 주목받는 교육 방법 론으로, 전혀 새로운 교육 철학으로 교육의 틀을 새로 쓰고 있다는 평가가 따르고 있다. 플립드 러닝이 주목받게 된 것은 현재 교육의 위기가 전방위적 으로 진행되고 있기 때문인데, 기독교학교의 성경수업도 예외는 아니다. 기 독교학교의 성경수업은 학생들이 외면하는 재미없고 피곤한 수업 넘버원이 다. 중요하지만 동시에 외면당하는 성경수업은 교수-학생 모두 달가와하지 않는 과목이 되어버렸다. 수업 분위기가 가라앉다 보니, 성경의 내용을 제대 로 교육하지 못하고, 제대로 교육할 수 없으니, 분위기는 더 가라앉는 악순 환은 성경교(수)를 부담스럽게 한다. 이 답답함을 해결할 수만 있으면 어떤 일도 마다하지 않을 것이다. 이 때 교육의 위기를 해결할 수 있을 것으로 기대되는 플립드 러닝으로 성경수업 바꿀 것을 기대하는 것은 당연하다. 본 연구는 연구자의 성경 수업을 플립드 러닝 적용 새로운 교수법으로 구성 하여 실시하고, 설문지와 인터뷰를 통해 참여한 학생들로부터 만족도 조사 를 실시한 결과를 토대로 구성한 연구이다.
Flipped Learning is a new teaching method of class focusing upon students inverted from the traditional teacher model. It is a recent teaching method in the spotlight in many areas, which is judged to be a new educational philosophy providing a framework of education. The reason it gets a lot of attention is the fact that the crisis of education is carried out in all directions. The Bible classes in Christian universities(or schools) are not exceptional. Unfortunately, the Bible class must be the first subject regarded as boring and tiring, which makes students turn away from their interest and concern. It is very important, many agree. However, it is real that its teachers or professors, as well as students, wants to avoid it, if possible. The Bible classes are not working properly because their mood is kind of depressing. Their mood is getting more depressing because they are not working properly. This problem causes the typical vicious circle and makes their teachers feel so burdened about them. This paper is to propose that the Flipped Learning would be an alternative of teaching method to solve this problem. I actually used the way of Flipped learning in my Bible class in the first semester of this academic year 2016 and I got a satisfactory result as I show in this paper. Here I will show that it is enough to be an experimental way of breaking or lightening the crisis of the Bible classes.
