본고는 식민지시대 「로서아 방랑기」를 대상으로, 조선인들의 러시아 이동의 역사적 사회적 조건과 경험을 추적 고찰했다. 그리고 다양한 사료를 통해 이 체류기의 저자를, 1920년대 근대무용을 도입한 무용가이자, 식민지 시대 재경성 소련총영사관 통역이었던 김동한으로 확정했다. 「로서아 방랑기」는 1917년 조선에서 소련으로의 이동의 역사적 사회적 조건, 1차대전에 참전한 조선인 군의관, 혁명기 전시공산주의하의 다양한 소련의 모습, 다양한 재소조선인의 삶 등 변혁기 소련을 잘 보여주고 있다. 저자 김동한은, 1917년~1920년대 초반까지 소련에 체류하며 학업과 직업경력을 쌓았고, 1922년 ‘해삼위연예단’ 일원으로 귀국했다. 문화통치 시기에, 식민지 서울에서 무용가로서, 1925년 이후에는 소련총영사관 통역으로 살았고 1938년 영사관 폐쇄와 함께 비극적 최후를 맞았다. 민족운동과 사회주의운동사로 포괄되지 않는 그의 행적은 ‘세계체제와 한국근대와 개인’이 미시적, 거시적으로 만나는 다양한 해석프리즘을 제공하고 있다.
This paper traces the historical social conditions and experiences of the Korean mobility of the Russians in the colonial era “Russia wanderer (Russia travel)”. The author of this stay was confirmed by various sources, Kim Dong-han, a dancer who introduced modern dance in the 1920s, and an interpreter for the consulate of the Soviet consulate in the colonial period. This article( Russia travel by Kim Dong-Han) shows the historical and social conditions of the transition from Joseon to the Soviet Union in 1917, the military surgeon who participated in the First World War, various Soviet states under the revolutionary wartime communism, The author Kim Dong-han stayed in the Soviet Union from 1917 to the early 1920s, and earned his academic and professional career. He returned to Korea as a member of Vladivostok Troupe(culture group) in 1922. He lived as a dancer in colonial Seoul during the period of cultural rule, and as an interpreter of the Soviet consulate after 1925. And when he closed the consulate in 1938, he was hit with a tragic ending. His actions, which are not covered by the national movement and socialist movement, provide diverse prisms that meet in a microscopic and macroscopic way between ‘the world system and the Korean modern and personal'.
