본 연구는 교회음악 안에 포함되어 있는 선교적 기능을 찾아보고, 이를 통해 진정한 섬김과 교제가 한국교회에서 어떻게 확장될 수 있는지 그 가능성을 살펴보는데 있다. 이를 위해 한국교회의 현 상태를 기독교윤리실천운동의 ‘한국교회의 사회적 신뢰도 여론조사’를 바탕으로 필자가 주목한 항목들을 통해 교회음악이 능동적으로 한국교회의 신뢰도를 개선하고 회복하기 위해 그 역할을 수행할 수 있는 가능성이 있음을 선교적 신학의 관점으로 열거하 였다. 예수 그리스도의 제자도를 충실히 따르는 가운데 세상 속으로 나아가 신앙의본질을향해늘성찰하고, 선교적신학을성실히실천할수있는훌 륭한 도구들 가운데 하나는 교회음악이다. 교회음악은 세상 속에서 예수님 의섬김을삶으로실천하며증언할수있다. 이를위해삶의현실앞에당명 한 선교의 사명인 다문화 가족과 북한 이탈주민들 그리고 소외계층을 위한 섬김의 일환으로 문화프로그램을 개설할 것을 제안하였다. 이를 위해 각 신 학대학교의 교회음악과와 교회음악 관련단체들과의 연대 그리고 교회음악 전공학생들을 위한 문화 프로그램의 운영과 교회 공간의 활용 등에 대해 디 아코니아와 코이노니아적 실천을 강조하며 나눔문화쿠폰(Suspended Culture Coupon) 운동을 제안하였다. 인간의 삶속에서 하나님을 찬양하고 기뻐하며 감사하는 것은 창조주의 명령이자 피조물의 마땅한 의무이다. 하나님을 찬 양하며 세상 속으로 나아가는 교회음악의 선교적 기능은 하나님을 찬양하는 신학의 본질로 완성이 된다.

The purpose of this study is to find out the missionary function in church music and the possibility of expansion of true service and fellowship through church music in Korean church. Using some items based on ‘the opinion survey of social reliability about Korean church’ by Christian ethics practice movement, in the missionary theological point of view, I mentioned the possibility that church music can change the reliability about Korean church. Church music is one of the best media that make us introspect the nature of the faith and practice missionary theology, following the dis- cipleship of Jesus faithfully in the world. Church music can make us testify to Jesus’ sacrifice and love through our lives. So I suggest the opening of culture programs that can serve multicultural families, residents escaping from North Korea and the underprivileged. Emphasizing the Diakoniac and Koinoniac practice about the alliance between department of church music in Theological Colleges and groups related with church music, running culture programs for students majoring in church music and the application in the space of the church, I suggest the movement of Suspended culture coupon(this is culture share coupon). Giving thanks to God and praising Him is the Creator’s order and the proper duty of creation. The missionary function of church music that makes us praise God and proceed to the World completes the essence of theology which means to praise God.
