본 연구에서는 수복하여야 할 상악 중절치의 형태를 변화시키면서 착시현상에 의해 심미성과 인접치아 간에 조화를 바탕으로 보철물 수복 시 치아 형태에 관한 지침을 제안할 목적으로 연구하였다. 치과보철에서 심미에 영향을 주는 요인은 치아의 크기, 형태, 위치, 색상 등으로 이러한 요인들이 주위조직과 얼마나 조화와 균형을 이루어 재작되느냐가 심미보철의 평가 대상이 된다. 치과보철물 제작 시 환자의 구강 조건에 따라 반대 측 동명치아보다 좁거나 넓게 혹은 길거나 짧게 제작하는 경우가 많고, 이러한 경우 심미적 요인을 충족시키기 위해 치아 외형의 윤곽선 및 치아 표면의 특징을 변화시켜 착시현상을 이용 하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 동일한 공간에서 치아표면의 융기부와 함몰부, 선과 면, 우각의 형태에 착시를 유도하여 시각적인 크기를 비교하였다. 연구결과, 착시현상과 윤곽선의 변화를 이용한 시각적인 치아 크기의 변화는 심미보철 제작에 있어 매우 중요한 요인이지만, 지나친 대칭과 정연함은 오히려 심미를 저해할 수 있어 주위조직과의 균형과 조화가 이루어져야 할 것이다.
In this study, changing the form of restoration of the maxillary central incisor to be base on harmony between aesthetics and the adjacent teeth by an optical illusion for the purpose of the proposed guidelines on the form of the teeth prosthesis Factors that affecting the aesthetic in dental prosthetic are teeth size, shape, position, color. These factors is produced the evaluation of the esthetic prosthesis which in how harmony with surrounding tissue. When dental prosthesis production, depending on the environment of patient's mouth produce longer, shorter or wider and narrower than on the opposite side the homonymous tooth. In these cases, in order to meet the aesthetic factors, by changing the outline of axial contour and characteristics of the tooth surface to be used an optical illusion. In this study, tooth surface of ridge, concavity, line , surface and form of the angle induced by visual size comparison in same space. As a result, the optical illusion and changing the outline used that change in visual tooth size play an important role in the aesthetic production, but rather excessive symmetry and tidiness can hinder, there will be balance and harmony in surrounding tissue.
