The objective of this study is to recognize themeaning of STEAM program through theoreticconsideration and to construct the assessment itemand establish standard index of STEAM program, aprogram to nurture human resources according tothe target of fostering people of future convergencewith creativity and personality. By reconstructing previous study regardingSTEAM program assessment, assessment item andstandard index corresponding to 'High schoolstudent DOT LAB Project for fostering futurescience leader' which was conducted in the ScienceCulture Design Lab of Seoul National University ofScience and Technology were created. For whichever STEAM Program, the mostimportant consideration is the need of assessmentpolicy according to the feature of each program. Theassessment index chart of the High School StudentDOT LAB Project may be used as a material toimprove the design of future DOT LAB project. Therefore, the four assessment standard criteriafor the concept of talent that DOT LAB Programwants were named "DL-4C", and its assessmentcriteria were established. DL-4C is comprised ofConcept recognition, Creative approach, Convergenceapplication, and Contents composition. DL-4C was extracted through research, and therange and definition according to the criteria weredetermined and subordinate components of thecriteria were created. It was revealed that extractedassessment criteria of DOT LAB Program can beapplied to future DOT LAB Program and it can beused for modification and supplementation of theprogram.
