The purpose of this study was to provide guideline on eco-education program with mountain climbing culture. On behalf of the purpose, there needs to be a survey conducted for climbers after the convergence of ideas on the fundamental practices that should be carried out by thorough evaluated relationship among forest environment, eco education, and theory of their relationship from an expert. Outcome of this study pointed out, 1) Participants of the survey recognized the importance of educated approach on mountain climbing culture and they were highly willing to participate in the program. 2) Participants agreed upon the fact that the most important principle of mountain climbing was to restrict "any" kind of acts that might cause forest fire. They also noted that camping or climbing on paved ground was less important to them. 3) When developing programs on climbing culture with educated principals, 'preservation of nature the way it is' and 'consideration of other climbers' should be the point and value most recognized. The results of this study can provide improvements on forest environment and lead turnover of thoughts on climbing culture.
