장애인 자립생활서비스는 기존의 재활서비스와 달리, 이용자의 지배와 선택에 따라 서비스가 제공되어야 하므로 장애인 이용자의 참여를 통한 서비스 구성이 필수적이다. 따라서 본 연구는 개념도 연구방법을 통해 자립생활센터를 이용하는 장애인의 자립생활센터의 역할과 기능에 대한 직접적인 표현을 수집하여 자립생활 서비스를 실증적으로 구성하고자 시도하였다. 이를 위해 자립생활센터 이용자 및 직원 15명의 개별 진술문 75개를 통해 8개 서비스 집락을 얻었으며 각각의 진술문에 대한 중요성과 실현가능성의 평정 결과를 분석하였다. 이를 통해, 지역사회 아웃리치 서비스와 동료차원의 지지관계 형성 서비스가 가장 먼저 수행되어야 할 중요한 서비스로 나타났으며, 권익옹호, 자립생활 체험기회 제공, 활동보조서비스 질 제고 등과 같은 서비스가 요구되는 것으로 파악되었다.
In contrast to rehabilitation services, independent living services should be delivered under the control and choice of users with disabilities. It means that users with disabilities should participate in setting services of independent living centers. In this reason, this research used concept mapping techniques to develop services for independent living centers. 15 participates brainstormed 75 statements, which were then sorted and rated for their importance and feasibility. A sequence of multivariate statistical analyses, generated maps and figures that were then interpreted by the participates. The results provide empirical support that community outreach services and peer relationship building services would be initial target for action. In addition, it is also supported that advocacy, independent living skill training, and quality control of attendant service are needed.
