The purposes of this research are to investigate students' degree of satisfaction with cyber campus-based general English courses, and to suggest ways of improving them. For these purposes, survey was conducted to 552 students, and interview to 20 students. The results showed that students, by and large, were not satisfied with the current cyber campus-based general English courses even though they had strong interests in them. Students showed the high degree of satisfaction with the technical issues, such as cyber campus components. But they showed the low degree of satisfaction with contents and instruction activities conducted through the cyber campus. Students wanted multimedia components embedded in learning contents, but in most cases, they were using the text-based materials. These findings imply that high quality of learning contents and instruction activities magnifying the functions of cyber campus should precede the other factors for the effective implementation of cyber campus-based general English courses.
