ICT affects diversely human life and culture especially in information- knowledge era. It is accepted in general that educations for farmers’ ICT literacy should be implemented to meet the needs for quality of life and to bring out new added values and profits considering so ever quick changes in the era. The purpose of this study was to present some implications for the directions and possible alternatives related to the ICT literacy educations for farmers. Based on the review of previous literature and related theory, the followings were determined as major findings. First, the appropriate measurement tools to assess farmers’ ICT literacy level should be developed before constructing the curriculum of ICT literacy education. With the identification of farmers’ literacy, it is possible to carry out tailor-made learning based on farmers’ needs. Second, in terms of the flat form of learning, it is advisable that the measurement tools should evaluate farmers’ practical abilities with web environment. Third, it is found that learning theories focusing on concrete experience and abstract conceptualization need to be applied to increase academic achievements from ICT literacy education for farmers. Fourth, from the performance technology point of view, the current problems of ICT literacy education should be diagnosed and analyzed in advance. And then, the solutions to surmount need to be presented. Finally, realistic and practical educational programs should be ready to deal with new learning technology such as e-learning, t-learning and r-learning.
