본 연구는 영유아 발달과 시설의 질에 대한 부모의 관점을 보육시설 유형별로 비교 분석하는데 목적이 있었다. 먼저 영유아 발달과 보육시설의 질과 관련된 문헌 분석과 전문가 및 부모들과의 협의 과정을 걸쳐 영유아 발달과 보육시설의 질에 대한 부모의 관점을 평정할 수 있는 설문지를 개발하였다. 개발된 설문지의 신뢰도는 .934로 높게 나타났다. 연구대상은 국공립, 법인, 민간, 그리고 가정 보육시설에 자녀를 보내고 있는 360명의 부모들 이었으며 수집된 자료는 SPSS를 이용해 ANOVA를 실시하고 추후 분석은 Scheffe 검증을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과 보육시설 유형에 따라 영유아 발달과 시설의 질에 대한 부모의 관점이 유의하게 차이가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다.
The purpose of the current study was to compare parents' beliefs of child development and quality of child care center on the types of child care center. A questionnaire was developed based on prior literature and research and used to collect data. The reliability of the questionnaire was .934. The subjects used in this study were 360 parents who sent their children to day care centers. Data analysis was conducted by one-way ANOVA and Scheffe using SPSS. The results of this study indicated that there were significant differences among the groups in parents' beliefs of child development and quality of child care center on the types of child care center.
