이 연구는 ‘행복’의 관점에서 유아교육을 고찰해보고 행복한 삶을 위한 유아교육의 방향으로서 ‘관계지향 유아교육’이라는 유아교육의 새로운 패러다임을 도출해보고자 한다. ‘행복’은 삶의 의미이자 총체적인 목표이며, 행복한 삶을 위해서는 영유아기 삶 그 자체가 행복해야 한다. 그러한 우리의 존재계는 나 자신, 나-대상의 관계로 구성된 ‘관계의 망’으로 구성되어 있고, 관계망 속에서 상호영향 미치는 작용을 하면서 존재한다. 관계망 속에서 관계의 의미와 가치를 인식하고 내면화하는 것이 지식이며, 앎이고, 그 결과 자신과 대상에 대해 배려하는 관계지향적 삶을 살아가며 성장하도록 하는 것이 관계지향 유아교육이다. 관계지향 유아교육의 교육활동 대상은 자기자신, 타인, 자연과 관련된 내용이며, 대상을 중심으로 관계적 맥락을 탐구하는 방식으로 활동이 이루어져야 하고, 교사 자체가 관계지향적 삶을 살아야 하며, 거시적 관점에서 현상을 볼 수 있는 지성이 요구된다.
This study aims to derive from “relationship-oriented early childhood education,” a new paradigm of early childhood education that is reviewed in terms of “happiness.”Happiness is the meaning overall purpose of life. Life itself should be happy. The jonjaegye(being world) consists of a network of relations and exists while working on interaction in relationship. “Relationship-oriented early childhood education” is to be aware of the meaning and value of relationships and to internalize such awareness. The subject of relationship-oriented educational activities is more related to self, others, and nature. the method should involve exploring the relationship between context and relationship-oriented early childhood education. Teachers themselves live a relationship-oriented life with a macro perspective and possesses the intelligence required to view the phenomenon.
