이 연구의 목적은 2007 개정 과학과 교육과정의 운동과 에너지 영역관련 교수-학습 상황에서 탐구활동을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해서 운동과 에너지 영역관련 단원의 교수-학습 프로그램을 분석하여 탐구활동 유형과 포함된 탐구기능을 파악하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 탐구활동 유형중 가장 빈번하게 나타나는 형태는 ‘해보기’였으며, ‘과제연구’와 ‘견학’은 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 전체적으로 과학적 탐구기능은 기초탐구기능의 비중이 통합탐구기능의 비중보다 더 컸다. 셋째, 모든 학년에서 가장 높은 비중을 차지하는 기초탐구기능은 ‘관찰’이다. 넷째, 통합탐구기능의 경우 학년이 올라갈수록 고르게 분포하는 경향을 보였다.
The purpose of this research was to analyze inquiry activity in teaching-learning of exercise and energy units. For this, teaching-learning programs of exercise and energy units were analyzed and inquiry activity types and science process skills were counted. Results were as follows: First, the most inquiry activity type was ‘simple examination’ and there were few ‘task study’ and ‘field trip’. Second, overall the percentage of basic process skills was 57.6% and that of integrated process skills was 42.4%. Third, observing was the most basic process skill in all grades. Forth, as far as integrated process skills, those were tend to evenly distributed, with grades going up.
