최근 범죄로부터 안전한 도시의 설계를 목표로 셉테드 기법이 반영되고 있다. 하지만 셉테드는 범죄기회를 제거 또는 감소시킬 수는 있어도 현장에서발생하고 있는 범죄에 대해 즉각적으로 대응할 수 없다는 한계가 있다. 따라서 셉테드 전략을 완벽하게 실현하기 위해서는 단순한 감시기능을 넘어서 범죄위험을 미리 예측하여 잠재적 피해자에게 경고해주는 경보기능까지 갖추어야 할 필요가 있다. 특히 치안환경이 급격하게 변화하고 있는 현대 사회에서는 신속하게 대처하는 치안서비스가 절실하며, 최근 발달하고 있는 사물인터넷(Inter of thing, IoT) 기술들을 셉테드에 적용시켜 활용함으로써 경보기능까지 갖춘 범죄예방시스템의 도입이 가능해졌다. 이에 이 연구는 IoT 기술을 활용한 지능형 셉테드 사례를 중점으로 치안환경 변화에 신속히 대응할 수 있는 안전도시 도입방안을 제안하고 있다.
In recent years, the concept of CPTED has been reflected in the design of a city that is safe from crime. However, there is a limit to the fact that although CPTED can eliminate or reduce crime opportunities, it can not respond immediately to offenses occurring in the field. Thus, in order to fully realize the CPTED strategy, it is necessary to have a warning function that warns potential victims by predicting crime risks beyond simple surveillance functions. Especially, in the modern society where the security environment is changing rapidly, there is an urgent need for security services to cope quickly. It is also possible to introduce a crime prevention system that has alarm function by applying recently developed Internet of Intertext(IoT) technology to the concept. Therefore, this study proposes a safety city introduction scheme that can respond quickly to the change of the security environment by focusing on the case of intelligent CPTED using IoT technology.
