본 연구는 Q방법론을 통하여 교육봉사활동에 대한 예비유아교사의 이미지를 유형화하고 그 특성을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 관련문헌 및 선행연구 고찰과 170명의 예비유아교사로부터 교육봉사활동에 대한 이미지를 개방형 질문지를 통해 수집하여 총 116개의 Q모집단을 구성하였다. Q모집단의 유목화를 통해 최종 40개의 Q표본을 추출한 후 P표본으로 선정된 40명의 예비유아교사에 주관적 동의 정도를 9점 척도로 진술문을 분류하고 그 자료를 QUNAL 프로그램을 통해 Q요인분석 등의 방법으로 통계처리 하였다. 연구결과, 교육봉사활동에 대한 예비유아교사의 이미지는 4개 유형으로 분류되었는데, 제1유형은 ‘교육전문가로 준비하는 시간’, 제2유형은 ‘사회관계를 준비하는 시간’, 제3유형은 ‘직무능력이 성장하는 시간’, 제4유형은 ‘유아와 가까워지는 시간’으로 구분되었다. 본 연구결과는 교육봉사활동에 대한 예비유아교사 양성 프로그램 개발을 위한 질적 자료가 될 것으로 보인다.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the types of image of early childhood pre-service teachers on educational service activities of using Q-methodology. The Q-population of this study was collected from reviews of various literatures and 116 early childhood pre-service teachers replies on open ended questionnaire. After categorizing Q-population with 116 statements, 40 Q-samples with 40 statements were selected. 40 early childhood pre-service teachers selected as P-sample were asked to Q-sort 40 statements according to their subjective agreements. The data was analyzed using QUANL program, and as a results of this study, the image of early childhood pre-service teachers on educational service activities was classified into 4 types: type 1: time to preparing a teaching professional, type 2: time to preparing a social relations, type 3: time to growing employee performance, type 4: the time to become familiar. Theses results will be used to develop a program for early childhood teachers and will be a basis for the good practice of early childhood pre-service teacher education.
