Lee Jeong-jik of Seokjeong is a writer and poetry theorist who worked as a critic based on Asian study of poetry right before Western theory on literature entered Korea. 『Ganojeongseon(刊誤精選)』, completed in 1899, is an important work of literature where we can observe the poetical views of Lee Jeong-jik who had reached his final days. The book is an essay written by adding his views to the text of Fang Hui's 『Yingkuilusui(瀛奎律髓)』 of the Yuan Dynasty and 『Yingkuilusuikānwù(瀛奎律髓刊誤)』 where Jǐ-Yún of the Qing Dynasty added his views.
